Julissa Cruz Gómez is a Dominican doctor who lives and practices in the Netherlands. Since she was a child, she has shown a special interest in social matters. At the age of fourteen, she participated in various youth groups along with other young people in her hometown, Santo Domingo. In 2015, she founded an international doctor’s association together with colleagues in the Netherlands with the hope and goal of making Holland’s registration process easier for doctors. In 2017, she fulfilled one of her many dreams: to lead a medical mission to the Dominican Republic to improve the health of Dominican children! She loves the universe and the stars, history, art, and the cello. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, hiking, and all the little things in life.
