Dra. Silvia MN Choi

Dr. Silvia Choi, a native of South Korea, has studied and traveled in many Hispanic countries and currently lives in the United States. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business, a Master’s degree in Spanish from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has taught at Troy University, Huntington University, Kansas State University, and the University of Nebraska. Currently she is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Georgia Gwinnett College where she represents the College of Liberal Arts on the Foreign Language Regents Advisory Council. Dr. Choi is an active researcher on Contemporary Spanish Literature and Culture, publishing related papers and participating in conferences throughout the year. Ever seeking to improve her educational skills, she focuses on new teaching methodologies and pedagogy.
