Artur Díaz Carandell

Artur Diaz Carandell has been passionate about medicine his entire life. Raised in a family with a literary tradition, though with both a doctor father and a doctor mother, he also wanted to be a doctor from a very young age. His passion led him to become a craniomaxillofacial surgeon. During his fifteen years in the public hospital system, he specialized in head and neck reconstruction. He has given numerous presentations at international congresses. His training and extensive experience in this field have helped him become one of the renewed figures in facial surgery in Barcelona. He has traveled all over the world learning and teaching surgical techniques. He has lived in different countries, including the United States of America, France, and Bahrain in the Middle East. His affinity for literature and his family background led him to write his first novel.
